Driving Green Technologies

E3

As part of the EBNER GROUP, we at Gautschi see ourselves as an active contributor to the Group’s sustainability journey. We fully align with the E3 Sustainability Program and share the conviction that the future of our industry depends on our ability to innovate responsibly and act with environmental and social awareness.

The E3 Sustainability Program focuses on three pillars – ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT and EVOLUTION

ENERGY is at the core of our business. Together with the EBNER GROUP, we are driving the transition to more energy-efficient and sustainable technologies, including new heating and burner concepts that reduce dependence on non-renewable resources. In doing so, we help our customers achieve their sustainability goals.

Under ENVIRONMENT, we develop solutions that improve industrial efficiency while reducing emissions, waste, and resource consumption through advanced technologies.

EVOLUTION means integrating sustainability into our strategy, strengthening governance, and fostering people-centered growth with equal opportunities for all employees.

Aluminum Recycling Process
The Gautschi Multi-Chamber Furnace and the Rotary Tilting Furnace concept enable the remelting of organically contaminated post-consumer scrap

  • Melting is the heart of the aluminum cycle.
  • Recycling of one kilogram of aluminum leaves almost 95 % less carbon footprint than creating one kilogram of primary aluminum.

About 75 % of all aluminum products ever produced are still in use today, such as car or airplane parts, window profiles, or packaging material. About 35 % of the aluminum produced annually is recycled secondary aluminum from scrap.

Industrial scrap and post-consumer scrap are collected, processed, and, if necessary, mixed with primary aluminum to produce alloys suitable for new components for the transport, construction, or packaging industries.
