Last week, two of our employees from Sales and Research & Development, together with three colleagues from EBNER in Leonding, visited a customer in Germany.

The purpose of the business trip was a technical inspection of a Gautschi chamber furnace that is more than 40 years old—and still operating reliably on site.

On-site discussions focused on the next step: a targeted modernization program designed to secure performance, efficiency and availability for the years ahead. The planned measures include both combustion system and electrical upgrades, bringing the system in line with today’s state of the art while maintaining the proven core of the installation. Beyond the technical review, the visit also provided valuable insights into the furnace’s operating conditions and the customer’s current requirements—key inputs for defining the right scope and sequencing for implementation.

We look forward to working with our customer again and to translating the results of this inspection into a modernization concept that combines reliability and efficiency.
