To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a new member for our location in Braunau Ranshofen, Austria, starting immediately or by agreement, in the area of
Commercial Project Management in Plant Engineering (f/m/d)
The commercial project manager is responsible for the commercial processing of customer orders in cooperation with the technical project manager and related departments. He analyzes the monthly cost reports (MIKA) with regard to deviations with the technical project manager and communicates recommendations for action to the management with the clear aim of avoiding unnecessary costs.
What to expect
- Overall commercial responsibility for plant construction projects
- Preparation and tracking of project budgets, cost and liquidity plans
- Contract review and management (customers, suppliers, subcontractors)
- Supporting technical project managers with claims and addendum management
- Supporting project controlling with target/actual comparisons and forecasts
- Analyzing cost deviations and reporting to management
- Accounting, payment monitoring, and coordination with Finance & Accounting
- Identifying commercial risks and developing appropriate countermeasures
How to convince us
- Completed commercial or economic studies or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project controlling or project management, ideally in plant or mechanical engineering
- Very good knowledge of contract, cost, and project controlling
- Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, or ERP
- Very good German and English skills

What to expect
- Maintenance of all commercial project data in SAP
- Close collaboration with the technical project manager, project controlling, purchasing, logistics, and accounting
- Review and administration of customer and supplier contracts
- Preparation of outgoing invoices and liquidity planning per customer order
- Handling of letters of credit (LCs) and bank guarantees
- Claims management in cooperation with the technical project manager
How to convince us
- Completed commercial education (apprenticeship, university of applied sciences, or university degree)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position is an advantage
- ERP experience, ideally with SAP / ATAQ
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Reliable, accurate, and self-driven working style
- Very good German and good English skills
