  • Fourth Double Chamber Pit Type Furnace for Norf

    Aluminium Norf GmbH has awarded a contract to Gautschi end of 2012 for the supply of the fourth Double Chamber Pit Type Furnace including the turn-key installation. The furnace will have a capacity of 470 mtons. The production for the first furnace chamber is scheduled to start by end of the 1. quarter of 2014. This new furnace will replace an old one (not Gautschi).

     

  • Second Pusher Type Furnace for Sierre

    Novelis Switzerland has awarded a contract to Gautschi in the third quarter of 2012 towards the supply and turn-key installation of a second Pusher Type Furnace at its Sierre facility. The furnace will have a capacity of 450 m tons. Production is scheduled to start during the second quarter of 2014.
