The contract fort he turn-key supply of a new RTC melting furnace and a holding furnace, each with a capacity of 110 t, was recently finalized in the P.R. China.

The melting furnace will be equipped with two pairs of Gautschi? VAREGA? regenerative burners and will have a maximum melting capacity of 27 t/h. A Gautschi? cold air combustion system will be used on the holding furnace. The line is expected to start operation in late 2009.
