Casting Line #2 for Xiamen Xiashun, P.R. China

Gautschi could most successfully, start up and turn over the first furnaces for a Casting Line at Xiamen Xiashun Aluminium Foil Co.,Ltd. to the customer.

The casting line consists of one 110 t RTC Melting Furnace and one 110 t Holding Furnace, supplying liquid metal to a VDC casing machine for the production of rolling slabs. To meet increased market demand, Xiamen Xiashun entered recently into an agreement with Gautschi for the supply of one additional RTC Melting and one additional Holding Furnace. The furnaces are scheduled to enter operation in late 2012.
