Ingot Casting and Stacking Machines for China

SHANXI HUAZE ALUMINIUM POWER CO. LTD. has awarded Maerz-Gautschi Industrieofenanlagen GmbH-Aluminium Division a contract for three (3) Ingot Casting and Stacking Machines. Each machine is designed for an output of up to 30 metric tonnes per hour with an ingot weight of 22.7 kgs. The state of the art casting machines are characterized by the following features:

- Overlapping mould design
- Dry ingot pouring facility
- Double-robotic stacking
- Production of ingots with a weight consistency of +/- 0.5kg

Shipment of the three Ingot casting and Stacking Machines is scheduled for May 2004.
