GAUTSCHI Vertical DC Casting Machine with Airglide Mould System for China

MAERZ-Gautschi Industrieofenanlagen GmbH of Switzerland, supplier of Cast House Equipment and Heat Treatment Furnaces for the Aluminium Industry, entered an agreement for the supply of one Vertical DC Casting Machine for Aluminium Billets with Qinghai Jiarui Aluminium Alloy Co. Ltd, P.R. China.
The Casting Machine will be equipped with six (6) sets of Airglide Moulds with diameters between 127 and 254 mm.

Maximum Number of Moulds will be 72 with a diameter of 152 mm. Qinghai Jiarui Aluminium chose this system because of its reliability, the billets superior surface quality and micro structural results achieving using the GAUTSCHI Airglide Mould System.

In addition, minimum maintenance requirements are a further benefit of this enhanced Casting System.
The supplied Casting Automation System allows for an optimized production control allowing for a sound product quality.
The Production will start in October 2005.
