Ingot Casting and Stacking Machine for ALBRAS

ALBRAS-ALUMINIO BRASILEIRO S. A. has recently purchased one of Gautschi's new generation ingot casting and stacking lines. The machine will produce 25 t/h of 22 kg re-melt ingot. The ingot stacking machine is equipped with a double-robotic stacking facility. Strapping and labelling of the stacks is carried out fully-automatic.
Commissioning is scheduled for September 2006. This new casting line will join four existing Gautschi lines, which were delivered in 1983 and 1988.
