Ingot Casting and Stacking Machines for CBA

Gautschi has signed a contract for the supply of one Ingot casting and stacking line with Companhia Brasileira de Aluminio. The machine will have a nominal capacity of 20t/h with 22.7 kg remelt ingot. Special features of the plant are a mould skimming robot as well as a fully automatic combined strapping facility for PET and steel band. The new line will join an existing Gautschi line which, has been in production since 1992.
